Don’t just take our word for it…. here are some comments from those that have previously visited…
“Always good, the pint of Guinness is the best in the village. The service is friendly and always efficient. If you want to place a bet this is the place to come BEFORE you visit the bookies. The bar has the local experts on horse racing in residence. The lounge is pleasant and spacious. Importantly, the place is spotless, with all the brass polished to the highest degree. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a quality pint and bar food”
“I love the Breffini for a quite couple of scoops. It’s a real old-fashioned pub, décor, design etc. and the customers. Nice atmosphere and brilliant staff. You’ll never be standing at the bar waiting for service here. The staff will always drop your pint down to you and offer you a tasty toasted sambo. Down the back you can have a lovely pint and a good aul chin wag without interruption.”
“I hadn’t been here in years but I went down at Christmas and the staff treated us as if we were loyal customers – because it was the festive season they brought out food for everyone, gave all the punters raffle tickets for draws throughout the night and managed to provide perfect service with a smile on their face. Definitely will go back again.”
