The Millrace Gallery has been in operation for over 10 years.

Featuring the work of Gearard McGourty, contemporary artist, he started his life designing and manufacturing furniture, overmantle mirrors, framing and instatllations.

This has evolved into contemporary art, where McGourty’s paintings have become collected on the national and international market.

The Millrace Gallery today continues these two aspects, art and art related services, picture framing, mirror/overmantle mirror manufacturing, made to a customers requirements.

A unique aspect of the production is the wide selection of finishes applied to the various products, such as distressed gilds, ancient bronze or contemporary paint or wax finishes, to enhance the solid woods used.

Because everything is hand done a customer can have something distinctive to suit their interior or office, all sizes are catered for, and we will be happy to advise on any area.
